  1. What are my e-mail server settings?

    See the e-mail settings page in our Members Only section.

  2. How much storage comes with my e-mail?

    By default, each e-mail account comes with 50MB of storage space. Additional storage can by purchased in blocks of 25MB at a cost of $2.50 per month, per block. You may e-mail support@monmouth.com for more info.

    NOTE: Monmouth Telecom reserves the right to remove and/or delete any email account that has exceeded the 50Mb quota.

  3. How many e-mail accounts can I get?

    A dial up user receives their main account (used for e-mail and dial-up), and 4 additional e-mail only accounts.

    A domain customer receives their main account (used for e-mail and dial-up), and 9 additional e-mail only accounts.

    You may purchase additional e-mail accounts at any time by sending an e-mail to support@monmouth.com.

  4. Does my e-mail have spam filtering?

    Monmouth Telecom customers receive complimentary Spam Sentry Light protection. All customers are automatically enrolled.

    For our domain and business customers, we also offer our Spam Sentry Pro version. It utilizes proprietary commercial technology, hard coded to prevent spam with minimal false positives. Spam Sentry Pro utilizes Bayesian filtering techniques, OCR scanning of images, as well as anti-viral scanning of e-mails. This greatly differs from our Spam Sentry Light protection, which does not offer these added features. Therefore, our Spam Sentry Pro services are far more dynamic in its ability to capture and block spam e-mails , with little chance of false positives.

  5. Does my e-mail have virus filtering?

    Only Monmouth Telecom customers utilizing our Spam Sentry Pro services have anti-virus protection. This means that e-mails are scanned and protected before they are downloaded. This helps to ensure protection of an end user’s computer or server.
