Race assignments will be posted on the web by
Tuesday, September 30.
Awards: Team trophy to first place team in each
race
Medals to top 35 in all varsity races
Medals to top 30 in all other races
Medals to top 3 teams in each race
An additional team trophy and watches will be
awarded to the varsity
teams with the best 5-person team average. We will also award
watches to the male and female with the fastest
times in varsity competition.

INVITATIONAL
· Because of the large number of entries, we are going to require that coaches submit team rosters created on Hy-Tek’s Team Manager. Please be careful. Entries should be sent to Barbara McArdle. Rosters, however, go to Ed Scullion, 329 Daniele Dr, Ocean, NJ 07712. Also, be sure to indicate the name of the meet you are entering. Coaches have the option of either sending the roster on diskette or e-mailing the file as an attachment to scullion@monmouth.com.
· To compete, both entries and rosters must be in before the deadline.
· Rosters may be updated until the Sunday prior to the race. After Sunday, no changes!
· All rosters that ARE NOT submitted on Hy-Tek’s Team Manager, either as an e-mail file attachment or on diskette, will not be accepted. Any problems, call!
·
NOTE: This
year there will be no second mailing.
Race assignments will be posted on the Scullion Timing Service web
site. The final assignments will be
posted by Tuesday, September 30. (monmouth.com/~scullion/)

INSTRUCTIONS FOR CREATING TEAM ROSTER
FROM THE MAIN MENU:
Option A: (Athletes/
Meets/Schools)
Option #3 (Schools): Create your school
· F3 to add school
· Use the enclosed list to find the code for your school
· Enter school name
· Enter short name for school
· Hit Ctrl ¿ to save
· Hit <Esc> twice to get back to ATHLETES/MEETS/TEAMS menu
Option #1 (Athletes): Add your athletes
· F3 to add first athlete
· Enter school abbreviation, last name, first name, sex, and grade
Important: Make sure athletes are designated with the correct sex. Hit Ctrl ¿ to save each athlete.
· When all athletes are entered, hit <Esc> 3 times to return to the MAIN MENU
Option T (Exporting
Entries)
Option #5 (Export Entries to Disk)
· Option 2 (Rosters Only)
· Enter your team abbreviation
· Select Male, Female or Both
· Hit Ctrl ¿ to export rosters. A message will tell you how many athletes were processed.
· Hit any key to continue and place a blank formatted 3 ½" floppy diskette into drive A: and make certain the export command reads A:\ and hit <Enter>
· Check to make sure message says that export was successful, that the file name ends with .TCL (it will probably have a name like TCL01-01.TCL), and that the location is A:
· Press any key to continue.
· Option 3 (Report from Export File)
· Option 2 (List Rosters only)
· COMMLINK file is in drive A:\ and the name should be as created above.
· Hit <Enter> twice and the roster should appear on the screen. Hit <P> to print this roster and proofread it.
Use a diskette mailer to send the floppy diskette to Ed Scullion or e-mail the .TCL file as an attachment to scullion@monmouth.com.
