Welcome to the Sunrise Optimist Club of Freehold, NJ. We've been a "Friend of Youth" in the Freehold community since 1986. Optimist clubs are members of a world wide civic organization dedicated to serving the youth of their communities.
The purpose of the Sunrise Optimist Club is to develop Optimism as a philosophy of life and to aid and encourage the youth of our community. The membership of our club represents a cross-section of the business, public, social, and cultural life of the Freehold area. The club is open to all adults of good character and community standing.

We actively seek new members. If interested, come join us as a guest at our weekly meetings held every Friday at 7:00 AM at the Golden Bell Diner on Route 9 in Freehold.
Driven by Optimist International's Childhood Cancer Campaign, volunteers from the Sunrise Optimist club established Camp Quality New Jersey, a camping experience and year round support program for children with cancer aged 6 - 16 years.
