Built in 1903, Adela was recently rebuilt for American owner George Lindemann by the Pendennis Shipyard n Falmouth, England under the direction of Dutch designer Gerard Dykstra The 78,500 denier Gatorback Spectra fabric used for the project was custom designed by North Cloth, and is the strongest sail fabric ever made.
