North's 4800 Series RACING MAINSAILS AND GENOAS are designed for boats 40 L.O.A. and under, and are available in a wide choice of cloth weights, features and prices. 4800 SERIES MAINSAILS AND GENOAS are made using Norths own 4800 Series NorDac sailcloth, woven with 100% Dupont Dacron. NORTH 4800 SERIES racing sails feature a crosscut panel construction that aligns stronger fill oriented threads in the cloth with vertical loads in the sail, reducing stretch.
