Directions to Navesink River Rowing

Local Area

Proceed to the intersection of Front Street and Maple Ave in Red Bank.  Landmarks include  a 7-11, Manhattan Bagel, and the new Hovnanian Enterprises building. There is a traffic light. Turn onto Maple Ave toward the river (the only way you can turn, actually), or if you are already on Maple, cross Front St and proceed downhill.  You will see NRR  on the left at the end of the street.   Click the following map image for a larger map of the local Two Rivers area.

Parkway Southbound

Take exit 109. After paying the toll, turn left at the light (onto Rte 520 east), and get into the right hand lane. Immediately after passing under the Parkway, turn right onto the jughandle. Stay in the center lane as you come up to the light. Go straight through the light onto Half Mile Road, which is 0.5 mile long and ends at a traffic light.  Turn right at the light onto West Front street, eastbound.  After crossing a bridge over the Navesink River, continue to the fourth traffic light and turn left onto Maple Avenue. You will see NRR  on the left at the end of the street.

Parkway Northbound

Take exit 109. Bear to the left and proceed to the traffic light. Take the center lane when you come up to the light. Go straight through the light onto Half Mile Road, which is 0.5 mile long and ends at a traffic light.  Turn right at the light onto West Front street, eastbound.  After crossing a bridge over the Navesink River, continue to the fourth traffic light and turn left onto Maple Avenue. You will see NRR  on the left at the end of the street.
