| NRR
maintains a fleet of 34 club boats: 8 beginner singles, 11
intermediate singles, 3 racing singles, 4 doubles, and 7 quads (1 having riggers for both sweep rowing and sculling). Adult
rowers with paid memberships and signed waivers are allowed to row
in any level or type of club boat that an NRR coach certifies they
are qualified to use. As newer rowers become more proficient, they
can be re-certified, and are encouraged to move up to different
shells and to join crews--although they do not have to. Our
coaching staff and volunteer coaches are available to answer
questions and give tips for improving rowing technique and
enjoyment. |
