1983 - - Celebrating 25 Years Rowing on the Navesink River  - - 2008

JOIN US ON THE NAVESINK!

Rowing is a great, versatile sport that can be done singly or as part of a crew; at a leisurely, relaxed pace or at a vigorous one for a terrific aerobic workout without the bone-jarring impact of other cardio activities.  Rowing is both an ideal form of recreation and an excellent avenue for exhilarating, limit-pushing competition.  It’s as fun and rewarding for a 40, 50 or 80-year-old as it is for a teenager.  NRR members fit into all categories.  NRR membership gives them an opportunity to experience any or all aspects of rowing.

Membership Requirements

To be an NRR member, you must 1) fill out and mail in an application and signed waiver, 2) pay applicable fees in full, and 3) adhere to all NRR policies and procedures.  Also, we request that you please read about NRR service opportunities to determine how you might be able to help in our all volunteer non-profit organization.

Before taking out NRR boats, new members must go through a brief orientation and assessments of their sculling abilities.  Refresher sessions are available for both new and returning members who feel a little rusty and want to reorient themselves before getting back on the water.
