    Women Who Would Be Rabbis: A book talk featuring Rabbi Priesand's own journey to ordination


The Adult Education Committee is honored to present Pamela S. Nadell. She is Professor of History and Director of the Jewish Studies Program at The American University in Washington, D.C. She holds a doctorate in history from Ohio State University and has studied at Hebrew University in Jerusalem. Professor Nadell is the author of numerous articles and publications. Her most recent book, Women Who Would Be Rabbis: A History of Women's Ordination, 1889-1995, was finalist for the National Jewish Book Award and a main selection of the Jewish Book Club.

Everyone is invited to participate in any or all of the sessions. Reservations should be made for Saturday evening and Sunday morning. There is no charge for the programs, but donations to the Joan Goodman S-I-R Fund will be gratefully accepted.
