Monmouth Reform Temple

Scholar-In-Residence Program

This program is supported by the Joan Goodman and Ida and Julius Klein Scholar-in-Residence Fund. It has brought distinguished scholars to Monmouth Reform Temple annually since 1988.

Each visiting scholar addresses the congregation at the end of Friday evening services, after Hadvalah and a covered dish supper on Saturday Evening, and again after a bagel brunch on Sunday morning. Several scholars have also led Torah study on Saturday morning, followed by an informal lunch with members of the Adult Education Committee.
