DESCRIPTION OF COLLECTION

The W. S. Holmes Collection consists of deeds, agreements, bills, bonds, receipts, judgements, letters, promissory notes, settlements of estates, invitations, surveys, road returns, wills, and powers of attorney.

The collection also consists of file folders containing papers of the following surnames: Barkalow, Campbell, Campbell-Lloyd, Crawford, Haight, Holmes, Lawrence, Ivins, Tallman, Thompson, Vanderbilt, and Van Pelt.

An article, written at the death of W.S. Holmes in 1958, can be found in Folder 26.
