September 27, 2005 - MCHA Holding Benefit Yard Sale - The Monmouth County Historical Association will hold a benefit Yard Sale on Saturday and Sunday, October 8th and 9th from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.  The event will be held at the MCHA’s Museum and Library, 70 Court Street, Freehold.  Proceeds will support the Historical Association’s mission of preservation and education.

Nelson Kuperberg of Freehold, the chairman of the Yard Sale committee, says:  "There will be something for everyone, from practical household goods to little treasures you cannot live without."

All kinds of items have been donated to the sale including furniture, household items, linens, clothing, books, knick-knacks, small appliances and toys.  No items from the MCHA collections are being offered for sale.

The Monmouth County Historical Association’s Museum and Library is located at 70 Court Street, Freehold, New Jersey.  Museum hours are: Tuesday - Saturday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  The Library is open Wednesday through Saturday.  For membership or admission fees and further information, please call (732) 462-1466 or visit our web site at www.monmouthhistory.org.
