Thank you for visiting my Counting Crows pages. I love to get feedback from people, and I would really love to share it with everybody. But since I am too busy right now to put up all the email forms I get, I figured an automated CGI script would do the trick...please add to my guestbook!

Counting Crows are a really tight sounding band. The music and the words combine greatly together. Adam is a magnificant lyricist and performer. As a musician myself (as well as a Duritz) i totally respect this band!!!

I had the wonderful privilege of seeing the Counting Crows live in Dallas Texas on the 25th of January, just last Saturday. They were AWESOME!!! I was about 12 feet from the speakers and stage! It was like being face to face with Adam Duritz. It's one of those things I'll never ever ever forget as long as I live!!

Hey Who reads these anyway? Well, You guys are my favorite. Isn't that stupid? How many times have you heard that? My hometown is St. Paul. Do you remember playing the State Theatre in Minneapolis 3 years ago? Well, I was there. And it was cool. Well now I'm going to your concert with my best friend on March 19th at the Northrup in Minneapolis. That's really a good thing that you play the smaller venues. Every seat's a good seat. The Houston and Austin shows were incredible. I travelled from Salt Lake to see them and my ex-gf. I got to meet Adam twice in Austin. He is very nice. I told him that I came all the way from Salt Lake to see him and he said "WOW that is a long way, you know were going to come there don't you? You could have just waited" I said I couldn't wait. The best band ever.

I just went to see the show in Dallas this weekend. It was wonderful. +I met the whole band, and they were all great. +I gave Adam Duritz a copy of a song that I wrote, and he said, "thank you." +And then he put it in his pocket. +They even played Mr. Jones after two years of not playing it. +I read a review on the show the other day and the writer said basically that Adam is a "whiner." +I was so upset. +It just goes to show how our culture looks upon us sharing our pain with each other. +We are taught from an early age not to tell what is going on inside of us,and it just makes us so fucked up. +Anyway if anyone wants to e-mail me and talk about this or the concert, I would love it.

Counting crows are one of the best bands to come out in a long time. I did not think that they could come close to topping their August and Everything After cd but I think that they did one hell of a job on their new Recovering the Satelites album. They got about as close to a cd as I thought possible. Keep it up guys you're the best!

Counting Crows mean much more to me than just great music. +They saved me from my troubled childhood in which I was abused by my parents. When I was 6, my parents divorced and for the rest of my adolescense I had to endure regular beatings by my estranged father. +I tried to committ suicide when I was 15, but I was too emotionally distraught to succeed. +That's when I first heard the Crows on the radio. +It was Time and Time Again and the song was just so meaningful to me. +I felt like Adam Duritz was speaking straight to my soul. +I finally had someone who shared my pain. +Counting Crows gave me a new lease on life and I have since been through counseling and am now under control. +I wish I could personally thank the whole band for helping me through my hard times. +I had never talked to anyone about this before because I had no friends. This is a Recovering The Satellites review that appeared in a local music magazine... "At last the long awaited sequel to August And Everything After, which was probably one of the biggest albums of 1993. And this one does not disappoint after the long wait. Packed with 14 tracks, Recovering The Satellites proves this band's undeniable excellence. Obviously not in a hurry, it took Counting Crows three years to produce an album that is as different from August And Everything After as it is similar. While lacking some of the emotional charge that made Auguat And Everything After such a stunning album, Recovering The Satellites makes up with a lot of drive and power. The songs tend to be a little rockier and faster, but they're still of an awesome quality, both techically and from an easier listening point of view. Tracks that particulary embody these aspects of the new Counting Crows are Angels of the Silences, Have You Seen Me Lately, and the hypnotically lovely slide guitar ridden Mercury (which is actually a slower track, but the rock influences can not be denied). To pull a bunch of the best tracks off of this CDs track listening is incredibly difficult - all of the tracks are good. In short, what we have is basically a brilliant album. This album measures up to August And Everything After with no problem and, in my opinion, surpasses the debut offering by Counting Crows with an equally effortless grace. If you're a fan, get it now!! If you're not a fan, get it now anyway, 'cause you'll soon be!! The review was done by Walt Pretorius by the Top 40 magazine!

Happy New Year!!! Maybe this year will be better than the last. It would be a an event of a life time to actually meet the crows. I dreamt I was talking with Adam. It was so real. We talked about how similar are experiences with life are. Then I awoke and realized everytime I listen to Anna begins or sullivan street or any crows song for that matter; he is talking to me.
