Thanks for stopping by!
You are not only welcome to
visit our web page, you are most welcome to visit with
us personally at our meetings. We meet
on the first Wednesday of every month at
Membership is open to
everyone, and you need not be a licensed amateur radio operator. If you are a non-ham, you will receive plenty
of encouragement to pursue a license.
Ham or not, you will thoroughly enjoy the activities and the fellowship of
the community of amateur radio operators.
We publish a monthly
newsletter called, "The Propagator.”
If you have the Adobe Acrobat Reader, you may view a recent edition,
click on recent issue. If you don't have the reader, you can get a
free copy of the latest version from Adobe.
Our current members are
some of the best in the area. Our deceased members
were also some of the best, and we honor them today. Please see our Silent Key Page. Bob Buus, W2OD, and Ed Kracum,
WB2COP (SK), worked hard at getting the original list together, and while they
were at it they also put together a list that honors our past presidents (and
our current president). View that list by clicking "Presidents".
Please do come to our next meeting; and you might think about filling out this "GSARA Application Form" and taking it with you. What a great idea! If you wish to join by USMail, the mailing instructions are on the above application form. The application form is a PDF file and requires the Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you don't have the reader, you can get a free copy of the latest version from Adobe. Whether you are an existing member or someone just looking, you might care to view our Constitution and ByLaws, a 6-page PDF file. After you study the constitution you may want to become our next president!
