Borough of Eatontown,
Office of Emergency Management

Office of Emergency Management

The Eatontown Office of Emergency Management coordinates all emergency response to disaster situations within the Borough.

One component of the OEM is the Auxiliary Police which provide supplementary assistance to the Borough police department and answers certain calls for assistance on an as needed basis. They provide backup during motor vehicle accidents and fires, and patrol the parks, mall, and certain business when required.

The OEM meets at 8:00 p.m.. on the third Mondays of each month in the OEM office at Borough Hall (adjacent to the Detective bureau offices in the lower level of the building.)

Volunteers are actively sought for this organization. Anyone interested in police work, emergency management, or those with specialized knowledge in areas like amateur radio or shelter management are encouraged to apply for membership. Members should be at least 18 years old, able to attend the bimonthly meetings, and have no felony convictions and a clean driving record.

Anyone interested in attending a meeting or seeking to volunteer can to Dr. Eddy H. Pevovar (Ed) or call him at (732) 542-3525 for further information.
