Spam Sentry Lite

By default, all emails that end in "@monmouth.com" are protected using our Spam Sentry Lite service. This FREE service is provided and updated by independent companies who run dedicated systems that seek out, test and add known and verified Spam sources and Open Relay servers to multiple ever changing databases. Monmouth Telecom accesses these databases along with other filtering methods which help block Spam. While nothing is 100% effective, this service will make a serious dent in the amount of junk email you receive and the service is always being improved and tightened up.

This blocking/filtering system has proven to be highly successful in making mail administrators more responsible for the mail they allow to pass through their servers. Working in concert with these anti-spam technologies and other like-minded ISP's, the propagation of Unsolicited Commercial E-mail (Spam) can be greatly reduced on a global scale.

Spam Sentry Pro

If you have domain email service with Monmouth Telecom (i.e. email address that end in "@yourcompanyname.com") then you may wish to sign up for our Spam Sentry Pro service. This service not only helps greatly reduce the amount of unsolicited email that you receive but is a self-managed Spam/Anti-Virus system that allows you to maintain a greater control as to what does and does not reach your mailboxes.
