Monmouth Internet is currently undergoing an infrastructure upgrade to provide an all
Digital Network and expanded line capacity. Monmouth Internet will be phasing out all
of our analog access lines.With this upgrade some access numbers will be changing.
Please update your computer to reflect the changes. If you require assistance in
changing your number please view instructions for Changing Your Settings. 
We have also added more Local Access Points to serve you.

Monmouth Internet is NOT responsible for any phone charges resulting from using a non-local number. Please check with your Local Telephone Access Provider to verify that your exchange is local to any of our sites. If you are not local to any of our sites call Bell Atlantic at 1-800-427-9977 and ask about "Sound Dialing" for an affordable extended toll free calling area.

Local Access Points

Monmouth Internet has expanded its services to the following areas.

How to change your Dialup Settings
Choose your correct Operating System below

Windows 95

1.Double click My Computer
2.Double click Dialup Networking
3.Right click the connection that represents Monmouth Internet, eg:Connection to access number here
4.Click Properties on the menu
5.On the General tab you will see the Telephone Number box.
6.Delete the telephone number in the Telephone Number box and enter the new Monmouth Internet Local Access Number.
7.If you need to change the Area Code, click inside the Area Code box and enter the new area code.
8.Click OK on the bottom right to save your new settings.

Windows 98

1.Double click My Computer
2.Double click Dialup Networking
3.Right click the connection that represents Monmouth Internet, eg: Connection to access number here
4.Click Properties on the menu
5.On the General tab you will see the Telephone Number box.
6.Delete the telephone number in the Telephone Number box and enter the new Monmouth Internet Local Access Number.
7.If you need to change the Area Code, click inside the Area Code box and enter the new area code.
8.Click OK on the bottom right to save your new settings.

Windows ME (Millennium Edition)

1.Click on the Start button.
2.Click on Settings
3.Move your mouse pointer to the right until you see Dial-Up Networking
4.Click on Dial-Up Networking.
5.Right click the connection that represents Monmouth Internet, eg:
Connection to access number here
6.Click Properties on the menu
7.On the General tab you will see the Telephone Number box.
8.Delete the telephone number in the Telephone Number box and enter the new Monmouth Internet Local Access Number.
9.If you need to change the Area Code, click inside the Area Code box and
enter the new area code.
Click OK on the bottom right to save your new settings.

Windows NT 4.x

1.From your desktop, double click on "my computer".
2.Inside "My Computer", double click the "Dial Up Networking" icon.
3.Choose the Phone Book entry that you would like to edit from the drop down menu and click "More".
4.In the "basic" tab of your Phone Book entry, you will see the phone
number. Click in the field and delete the current number. You may now
type the new number. Click OK to save.

Windows 2000

1.From your desktop, double click on the "My Computer" icon.
2.Double click on "Control Panel".
3.In the control panel, double click on "Network and Dial Up Connections".
4.Inside Network and Dial Up connections, you will find an icon for your
Monmouth Internet Connection.Right click on the icon and select
"properties" from the drop-down menu.
5.In the "general" tab of your connection properties, you will see the phone number for this connection. You may change this number by clicking inside the field and deleting the current number. Then, type the new number.


MAC

OS 7.5 (Config PPP)

1.Click on the Hard Drive folder.
2.Click on the Control Panel
3.Click on the ConfigPPP icon.
4.Click on the config button located on the bottom left.
5.Click inside the box labeled phone num and enter the new Monmouth Internet Local Access Number.
6.Click on done on the bottom right.


OS 8 / OS 9

1.Click on the Apple.
2.Click on Control Panel
3.And then click on Remote Access or PPP. You should have one or the other.
4.Click in the box that says number and enter the new Monmouth Internet Local Access Number.
5.Click Connect when finished.


FreePPP

1.Click on your Hard Drive Folder
2.Click on FreePPP folder
3.Choose FreePPP setup
4.Click on the little blue triangle on the bottom left corner.
5.Click on the Accounts tab
6.Select Monmouth Internet in the column on the left side.
7.Click on the Edit button
8.Click in the Phone Number box
9.Enter the new Monmouth Internet Local Access Number.
10.Click the OK button.
