Monmouth Internet is currently undergoing an infrastructure upgrade to provide an all
Digital Network and expanded line capacity. Monmouth Internet will be phasing out all
of our analog access lines.With this upgrade some access numbers will be changing.
Please update your computer to reflect the changes. If you require assistance in
changing your number please view instructions for Changing Your Settings. 
We have also added more
Local Access Points to serve you.

How to change your Dialup Settings
Choose your correct Operating System below



Windows 95/98

1. Double Click on the My Computer Icon on your Desktop.
2. Find the Dialup Networking Folder and double click on it.
3. Right Click on your Monmouth Internet Icon. Then Left Click on
    Properties.
4. On the General Tab you will see the phone number field.
5. Delete the telephone number only (not the area code) and Insert the new
    number.
6. When finished click OK.

Windows ME (Millennium Edition)

1. Double Click on the My Computer Icon on your Desktop.
2. Double Click on the Control Panel Icon.
3. Find the Dialup Networking Folder and double click on it
4. Right Click on your Monmouth Internet Icon. Then Left Click on
    Properties.
5. Delete the telephone number only (not the area code) and Insert the new
    number.
6. When finished click OK.

Windows NT

1. Double Click on the My Icon on your Desktop Computer
2. Find the Dialup Networking Folder and double click on it
3. Select your Monmouth Internet icon in the Phone Book Entry to Dial
    field.
4. Click on More.
5. On the Basic tab you will see the phone number field.
6. Delete the telephone number only (not the area code) and Insert the new
    number.
7. Make sure the box next to "use Telephony dialing properties" does not
    have a check mark in it. If it does click in the box and the check mark
    will disappear.
8. When finished click OK.

Windows 2000

1. Double Click on the My Icon on your Desktop Computer
2. Double Click on the Dialup Connections icon.
3. Right Click on your Monmouth Internet Icon. Then Left Click on
    Properties.
4. On the General Tab you will see the phone number field.
5. Delete the telephone number only (not the area code) and Insert the new
    number.
6. When finished click OK.

Windows XP
1. Click on The Start Menu and then Settings
2. Select Network Connection
3. Right Click on your Monmouth Internet Icon. Then Left Click on
    Properties.
4. On the General Tab you will see the phone number field.
5. Delete the telephone number only (not the area code) and Insert the
    new number.
6. When finished click OK.


MAC

1. OS 7.5 (Config PPP)
2. Click on the Hard Drive folder.
3. Click on the Control Panel
4. Click on the ConfigPPP icon.
5. Click on the config button located on the bottom left.
6. Click inside the box labeled phone number and delete the telephone
     number only (not the area code) and Insert the new number.
7. Click on done on the bottom right.


OS 8 / OS 9

1. Click on the Apple
2. Click on Control Panel
3. Click on Remote Access or PPP. You should have one or the other.
4. Click in the box that says number and Delete the telephone number only
(not the area code) and Insert the new number.
5. Click Connect when finished.

FreePPP

1. Click on your Hard Drive Folder
2. Click on FreePPP folder
3. Choose FreePPP setup
4. Click on the little blue triangle on the bottom left corner.
5. Click on the Accounts tab
6. Select Monmouth Internet in the column on the left side.
7. Click on the Edit button
8. Click in the Phone Number box and Delete the telephone number only (not
     the area code) and Insert the new number.
9. Click the OK button.
