The potential benefits of antioxidants has been well documented through years of scientific research.  Veriuni didn’t just stop with traditional antioxidants; we went a step further and included a red-wine extract, to create a very potent antioxidant. Experience the VERIUNI difference.I already take a daily multi-vitamin, why do I need to take an antioxidant?
The vitamins and minerals in our Advanced Antioxidant work together to block the chemical reactions that generate free radicals (compounds that harm the immune system and can damage DNA) and also help destroy them. Put simply, antioxidants help safeguard your immune system, retard the aging process, and protect your health. In addition, research has shown individual antioxidants support heart health and eye health - both important to older adults.

To boost your energy levels and healthy lifestyle, check out Veriuni's Advanced Antioxidant with Red Wine Extract. One dose (two capsules) of the Veriuni antioxidant includes 500 mg of Vitamin C, 400 IU of Vitamin E, and 50 mg of red wine extract.

AYAKATUBBY & BACIL CAPTURE PAUL MITCHELL AVP HUNTINGTON BEACH OPEN;HUNTINGTON GOLD MEDALLISTS DEFEAT TOP-SEEDED CEMAN & WHITMARSH TWICE SUNDAY
HUNTINGTON BEACH, CALIF. - Fourth-seeded Scott Ayakatubby and Eduardo Bacil
scored a pair of wins over top-seeded Canyon Ceman and Mike Whitmarsh here Sunday (June 17) to capture the Gold Medal at the $62,500 Paul Mitchell AVP Huntington Beach Open.Ayakatubby and Bacil, who defeated Ceman and Whitmarsh in the winner's bracket
fourth-round (21-19, 19-21 and 15-13) Sunday morning, scored a 21-14, 16-21 and
17-15 win in the 62-minute title match.  Ayakatubby and Bacil, who shared the $14,000 first-place prize, rallied from 11-7 and 14-12 deficits to win the deciding game of the title match.Ceman and Whitmarsh, who were trying for their third pro beach title together
on the beach, split $9,250 for the Silver Medal.  Echo Entertainment (Studio City, Calif.) taped the Paul Mitchell AVP Huntington Beach Open action for broadcast July 16 on FOX Sports Net.Playing in their first Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) event
together, Ayakatubby and Bacil completed the weekend with six-straight match wins.  Ayakatubby, who has returned to the beach after being sidelined from full-time play since 1998 due to a variety of injuries, won his 18th pro beach title.  He captured his last domestic title in 1996 (June 30) with Brian Lewis in Grand Haven, Mich.Bacil's only other USA pro title was with Jose Loiola at a 1995 indoor event in Washington, D. C.  Bacil, who grew up on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro,Brazil, won Brazilian and South American beach titles prior to starting his AVP career in 1993.A winner of five pro beach titles, Ceman was trying to win his second-straight Huntington title on The Pier courts as he claimed the 2000 crown with Lewis. Whitmarsh, a beach Silver Medallist for the United States at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games with Mike Dodd, had won 27 pro beach Gold Medals.  Whitmarsh is also the AVP's reigning "King of the Beach" after winning the crown last October in Las Vegas.Ceman and Whitmarsh advanced to the finals with a 21-16 and 21-16 win over second-seeded Nick Hannemann and Andy Jewell.  Ayakatubby and Bacil entered the championship match with a 5-0 AVP Huntington match mark, including a 21-16,21-23 and 16-14 win over 19th-seeded Mike Lambert and Colin Smith in the semi-finals.In the Bronze Medal match, Hannemann and Jewell scored a 21-19 and 21-15 win over Lambert and Smith in 35 minutes.  Hannemann and Jewell shared $6,600 for third-place while Lambert and Smith split $4,850 for fourth-place.  Lambert, a
two-time USA indoor Olympian, was competing in only his fourth pro beach event
while Smith was posting his career best finish.Led by Leonard Armato, Management Plus of El Sequndo, Calif., acquired the AVP last month (May 31, 2001) to unite the world's best men's and women's professional beach volleyball players under one umbrella organization.  The unification has attracted another large domestic field for the second of eight stops on the "new" AVP Tour.Armato actually founded the AVP and served as its executive director in the 1980's.  Under his initial leadership, the AVP developed into a national professional league, attracting major sponsors and national television exposure
along with increases in player prize money.  His involvement is expected to give the sport a much-needed boost following a number of lackluster seasons.

to win the game, 17-15 and earn their first AVP gold medal of the season. It
was the first time Ayakatubby and Bacil played together and Ayakatubby's first
AVP win since June 30, 1996. There were four ties and one lead change and
Ceyman/Whitmarsh had two match point opportunites which they were unable to convert.
In stats, Ayakatubby had 22 attacks, a .727 hitting percentage, three digs, 17
kills, five block and one service winner. Bacil had 26 attacks, a .385 hitting
percentage, 2 digs, 14 kills, two aces and four kills. Ceman record 39 attacks
for a .359 hitting percentage, had a game-highs of 10 digs and 25 kills.
Whitmarsh came up with 18 attacks and a.722 hitting percentage, with two digs,
14 kills, and two blocks.
SCOTT AYAKATUBBY: "We blended real well together, almost incredibly when you
consider this was our first tournament together. It feels just great. I'm kind
of amazed at how it ended. We didn't get down on each other and just hung in
there. It's just amazing how we won. It's been a long road for me with all the
injuries and surgeries, but I knew my career wasn't over and today proved it."
EDUARDO BACIL: "This rally scoring game makes everything possible and that
ended up the key for us today. You make a mistake and it's a point for another
team, not just a side out. They made a couple of critical mistakes at the end
and we never quit so we were ready to seal the deal. I plan on playing the
entire AVP tour this year and this win makes my immediate future more certain.
It was a great championship match and it just turned out that we got the breaks
at the end. And, it's a great father's day present as well." (NOTE: Bacil is from Brazil).
CEMAN CANYON: "I pretty much gave it away with poor sideouts at the end after
we had worked so hard to get back in the match."
MIKE WHITMARSH: "We made a couple of errors at he wrong time aand that was it.
We played really smart and cagy to come back like we did. To have match point
twice in the tie-breaker game and then lose it kind of puts you in shock. I am
really happy for Ack (Ayakatubby), because I know how hard and how long he has
worked on coming back."
BRONZE MEDAL MATCH
Nick Hannemann, Hermosa Beach, Calif./Adam Jewell, San Juan Capistrano, Calif.(2)
Vs. Mike Lambert, Honolulu/Colin Smith, Hermosa Beach, Calif. (19)
GAME 1 (N. Hannemann/A. Jewell win, 21-19)

allowing Lambert/C. Smith to close to 20-19. N. Hannemann then lands with a
cross court kill over Lambert to end the match, giving the win to N.Hannemann/Jewell.The game was never tied as N.Hannemann/Jewell led the entire match.
GAME 2 (N. Hannemann/Jewell win, 21-15)

even it up at 1-1. After exchanging points, Jewell gets a big kill to give his
team a 4-2 lead.  The teams exchange points twice to move the score to 6-4 and
a side change. N. Hannemann/Jewell then scored two straight to extended their
lead to 8-4 before the teams exchanged points twice, moving the score to 10-6.

serve, 15-7. Jewel's kill goes just long and wide, moving the score to 15-8 and
Smith then serves into the net, 16-8.Jewell kills off the Lambert block attempt as the teams excange points twice to 18-10. Lambert/C. Smith won't quit, with Lambert's block off Jewel giving his team two straight points, moving the score to 18-12. The teams exchange points twice, moving the score to 20-14, setting up match point attempt by Jewell. His
serve goes long, 20-15and N. Hannemann ends it with a big kill over Lambert.
It was the team's second-best AVP finish, having finished second last year in Belmar, N.J.
In the stats department, Lambert had nine attacks, five kills, three blocks,
one ace and one service winner. Smith contributed 22 attacks, five digs, 14
kills, one ace and one service winner. N. Hannemann recorded 15 attacks, one
dig, 10 kills, one block and one service winner. Jewell's play included 21
attacks, five digs,14 kills, one block, and games highs of two aces and three service winners.
ADAM JEWELL: We played pretty good overall in this tournament. We were really
out of gas in our olympic-crossing semifinal against Ceman/Whitmarsh. I was
especially struggling with fatigue. I drank a lot of water between matches and
I think we weren't as tired as Colin (Smith) and Mike (Lambert) obviously were.
We really played flawlessly in the third place match except for a few missed
serves.  We just need to get a little better stamina on these days when the sand gets so hot."
